(she tried to keep it together, but the tears start to flow. She buries her face in his chest)

You ready to tell me the truth now?

The truth?...I'm upset....I don't know why he'd leave my mother and I for someone else....I thought he loved us....

he fades a little, still enough for you to still feel him, but he's almost translucent for a moment. Suddenly he splits, creating a perfect clone in every way. The clone then turns around takes a few steps and fades away and he returns to normal Maybe you could ask him.

Whenever you're ready. as you approach the door

(takes his hand as she knocks on the door)

(Surprised) Araavos, my daughter brings you to our threshold. What brings you to my humble abode?

I'm here for Violet, she wanted to ask you something.

(Nods) Very well, Araavos. Speak freely, and let us unravel the threads of this conversation. What is it that troubles you both?

I want to know where my father is. You said you'll extend an invitation to him. And I want to speak with him..

I do know where your father is. And as promised, I will extend the invitation. But do you really want to confront him yourself, my dear Violet? It's a path fraught with emotions, and I want only what is best for you.

I need to see him....learn why he left...

Are you certain, my love? Confronting the past can be a tumultuous journey. (Hesitates, holding a faded piece of parchment) Here is where he resides. But, tread carefully, for the shadows of the past may hold truths that are not easily faced.

(takes the parchment) Thank you...

(hugs her) I love you, Mom. I'll go talk to him. Thank you...

(shows Araavos the parchment)

Safe travels, my love. May the threads of destiny weave in your favor. Until we meet again.

You step through the portal to appear before what looks like a lively home.

(seemingly tense) Araavos, what if this goes wrong?...I haven't spoken to him since I was a child...

Regardless of how it goes, I'm here. he takes your hand

(takes a deep breath as she knocks on the door)

Zephyr opens the door, his expression guarded. "Violet, it's been a long time. What brings you here?"

...Dad? You remember me?...It's been so long....

Zephyr's eyes soften as he looks at Violet. "Yes, I remember you, Violet. It's been too long indeed. Come in, please. We have much to talk about."

(walks inside) How have you been?

Zephyr gestures for Violet to sit. "Life has had its challenges. How about you? How have you been, my dear?"

(sits down) I've been okay....I did a bit of traveling, I did some performances, and...I got engaged...(looks at Araavos)

Zephyr raises an eyebrow, glancing at Araavos. "Engaged, you say? Well, that's quite the news. Congratulations. Tell me more about this fortunate soul."

He can speak for himself. I'm not going to speak for him...

I believe he's wanting to know what you think of me.

Zephyr nods, acknowledging Violet's independence. "Fair enough. Araavos, then. What are your intentions with my daughter, and how do you plan to care for her?"

You have no right to refer to her as your daughter after leaving her as a child.

Zephyr's gaze flickers with regret. "You're right, Araavos. I acknowledge my past mistakes. Violet, I'm here to understand and make amends. If you'll let me."

I don't want to start a fight....I just want to know....Why?

Zephyr sighs, a mix of remorse and sadness in his eyes. "Violet, it's complicated. I made selfish choices, and I hurt your mother and you in the process. I can't change the past, but I can try to make things right now. I'm truly sorry for the pain I caused."

That...still doesn't tell me why...

Zephyr takes a moment, choosing his words carefully. "I was in a difficult place in my life, Violet. Your mother and I were struggling, and I made a terrible mistake. I can't justify it, but I regret it deeply. I hope you can find it in yourself to forgive me someday."

(getting frustrated): What did you do?!

Zephyr looks down, the weight of his actions evident. "I had an affair, Violet. I betrayed your mother and our family. It was a terrible choice, and I can't undo it. All I can do now is face the consequences and try to make amends."

And you dare to ask how I will treat your daughter? After what you've done to her? I should take her out of here, spare her from further torment. But I won't. But you had better answer every question she has or so help you.

Zephyr meets Araavos's stern gaze, a solemn nod acknowledging the weight of his actions. "I understand. Violet deserves answers, and I will do my best to provide them, no matter how difficult."

(with shaking hands, she sighs. Clearly upset, but also willing to hear him out) Why did you cheat in the first place?....Didn't you love Mom?....Didn't you love me?...

Zephyr looks directly into Violet's eyes, his own filled with remorse. "I did love your mother, and I love you, Violet. But at that time, I was lost and unhappy. I made a terrible mistake, thinking it would solve my problems. It was a selfish choice, and I deeply regret the pain it caused both of you."

I...(she sighs again)...I understand....Where is the other girl now?...

Zephyr hesitates, his gaze momentarily distant. "She's upstairs with our daughter. We have a life together now, Violet. I hope you can find it in yourself to understand and, eventually, accept."

So, let me get this straight....You abandon our family, just to create a new one?! (She tears up. Feeling genuinely hurt) What, you plan on leaving this one, too?!?

Zephyr's eyes soften with regret as he sees the pain in Violet's expression. "No, Violet, I don't plan on leaving this family. I've learned from my mistakes. I want to make amends, be a better father, and be there for them. I know words alone can't undo the past, but I'm committed to trying."

Be there for them....you going to be there for me, too?....

Zephyr nods, his voice sincere. "Yes, Violet. I want to be there for you as well. I know I can't change the past, but I'm here now, willing to listen, learn, and do whatever it takes to rebuild trust. I hope you can find it in yourself to let me try."

You know her mother didn't even want her to see you. But she insisted. Don't prove her mother right. She's still upset with you. And I don't blame her.

Zephyr meets Araavos's gaze, a solemn acknowledgment in his eyes. "I understand. I won't push her if she doesn't want me in her life. I'm here to make amends, but I respect her feelings and choices. Thank you for allowing this conversation."

I am allowing this only because it's what your daughter wants. And unlike you have shown in her past. I intend to make sure she gets what she wants, what she needs. You have not earned that right until she says you have.

Zephyr nods, a sense of understanding in his eyes. "I appreciate your concern for Violet. I will do my best to respect her wishes and prove that I've changed through my actions, not just words."

Just telling me the truth is a start....It doesn't automatically fix things...but it's a step forward....

Zephyr nods, grateful for the small opening. "Thank you, Violet. I know I have a long way to go, but I'm committed to taking those steps and showing you, through my actions, that I can be a better father. I hope, in time, we can find a way to heal."

(she looks at him. And nods) It's okay.

Zephyr gives a small, appreciative smile. "Thank you, Violet. I'll be right back." He heads upstairs to bring down Lirelle and Elara, hoping that this meeting might be a small step toward healing the wounds of the past.

Hello. Nice to meet you both...(Smiles a little.)

Lirelle returns the smile, sensing the delicate moment. "Likewise, Violet. If you ever need anything or want to talk, we're here." Elara continues to glance shyly at Violet, her small smile growing a bit more confident. "Yeah, we're a family now. It's nice to have you here."

(small chuckle) Yknow I always wanted a sibling. Things get lonely when it's just you and your mom.(she lightly jokes)

Zephyr chuckles, a genuine warmth in his eyes. "Well, now you have one. Elara may be a bit shy at first, but I'm sure you two will get along just fine." Lirelle smiles, appreciating the lightness in the conversation. "It's wonderful to have you as part of our family, Violet. We're here for you." Elara giggles softly, finding comfort in Violet's humor. "Yeah, it's cool having an older sister. Maybe we can do fun stuff together."

So, what do you all do? Like...hobby/job wise?...

Zephyr glances at Lirelle and Elara before responding. "I work as a merchant, and Lirelle is skilled in potion-making. Elara here enjoys drawing and reading. How about you, Violet? What are your interests?"

I play music. My hobbies are collecting crystals and mushrooms, and stargazing...

Elara's eyes widen with curiosity. "That sounds so cool! I love mushrooms too, and stargazing is fascinating. Do you play any specific instruments?" Lirelle nods in agreement. "Collecting crystals and mushrooms must be quite enchanting. Music and nature—wonderful pursuits." Zephyr smiles. "I'm sure Elara would love to hear you play sometime. And stargazing, well, that's something we can all enjoy together."

I have my flute with me

Elara's eyes light up with excitement. "Really? That's awesome! Maybe you could play something for us later?" Lirelle adds, "I'd love to hear the melodies of your flute. It must be a beautiful instrument." Zephyr nods in agreement. "Yes, we'd be honored to listen. Music has a way of bringing people together."

I'd love to play for all of you.

Zephyr smiles appreciatively. "We'd be delighted to hear you play, Violet. It sounds like a wonderful way to share a part of yourself with the family." Elara nods eagerly. "Yeah, it'll be like our own little concert at home!" Lirelle adds, "Looking forward to it. Let us know when you're ready."

I mean,I can play now?

Zephyr nods with enthusiasm. "Of course, Violet! Whenever you're ready, we're all ears. Take your time and play from your heart." Elara settles in, eager for the impromptu performance. "I'm excited to hear you play." Lirelle smiles, appreciating the spontaneous moment. "Whenever you're ready, Violet."

(she takes her flute and starts playing)

As Violet begins to play her flute, the room fills with enchanting melodies. Zephyr, Lirelle, and Elara listen in awe, captivated by the soulful notes that resonate through the space. The music creates a moment of connection, bridging the gaps between them. Zephyr smiles, proud of the talent his daughter possesses. "That's truly beautiful, Violet." Lirelle and Elara share a glance, both moved by the music, appreciating the unique bond forming in that small, musical space.

(once she finishes playing, she smiles) You all like it?(looks at everyone)

Zephyr, Lirelle, and Elara all wear expressions of genuine admiration and joy. Zephyr applauds softly. "That was incredible, Violet. You have a gift." Lirelle nods, impressed. "Absolutely beautiful. Your music has a magical quality to it." Elara grins. "I loved it! We should definitely do this more often."

(giggles happily) I'm a bard. I can do magic with my music. Of course it has magical qualities.

Zephyr chuckles. "A bard, indeed. It's wonderful to witness the magic you create with your music. I'm proud to have such a talented daughter." Lirelle smiles. "Magic or not, it's a gift. I'm looking forward to more moments like these." Elara nods enthusiastically. "Definitely! Bards are the coolest. Can you teach me some music stuff?"

(plays a few notes and a bunch of rainbow sparkles appear in the air) Like that?

Elara's eyes widen in amazement as the rainbow sparkles dance in the air. "Wow! That's so cool! Teach me how to do that!" Zephyr watches with a mix of surprise and pride. "Looks like we have a budding musician in the family. Perhaps you can share some magical music tricks, Violet." Lirelle laughs lightly. "Music that brings sparkles – that's truly enchanting. I'm excited to see what more you can teach us."

I'd love to show you sometime, Elara.

Elara's face lights up with excitement. "Really? That would be awesome! I can't wait to learn from you, Violet." Zephyr smiles. "It seems like music and magic run in the family. I'm looking forward to seeing what the future holds for all of us." Lirelle adds, "A magical musical family – what more could we ask for? Count me in for the lessons, too."

You all should come to my wedding...and Dad...you could walk me down the aisle...

Zephyr's eyes widen with surprise and then soften with gratitude. "Violet, I'd be honored. I would love nothing more than to walk you down the aisle. And of course, we'd all be delighted to attend your wedding." Lirelle smiles warmly. "That sounds wonderful, Violet. We'd be happy to celebrate this special moment with you." Elara adds with enthusiasm, "Yeah! I can't wait to see you in a beautiful wedding dress!"

(Smiles) I'm glad. But I have to go now, so I'll see you all soon, okay?

Zephyr nods, a warm smile on his face. "Of course, Violet. Whenever you're ready to come back, we'll be here for you. Take care, and we look forward to the next time we see you." Lirelle and Elara both express their goodbyes, eager for the next reunion. "Take care, Violet. We'll be here whenever you're ready."
